COSTUME APPRENTICESHIP- Responsibilities of part-time Costume Interns include: assist costume shop manager, work with designers, costume construction, shopping and fitting, may have some wardrobe maintenance. Requirements: solid sewing skills with a very basic understanding of patterns and costumes, as well as a positive attitude. Ideal opportunity for anyone seeking to work with NY based theatrical design professionals, become familiar with design resources specific to the NY area, work on period shows, and learn construction techniques. No stipend or housing. Minimum time commitment: 10 hours per week.
