Volunteers

The Pearl's volunteers are essential to our success. We rely on volunteers to help with everything from sending out invitations to bartending at an opening night party to striking the set at the end of the show. Our volunteers, ranging from long-time subscribers to college students, quickly become a valued part of the Pearl family.

Volunteers are called upon to assist on specific projects in a variety of areas including:
Production - includes painting, carpentry, light hang, and strike
Costume Shop - assist in costume construction and maintenance with hand and machine sewing
Administration - mailings, research, phone calls, and general office support
Plus audition monitoring, staffing special events and more!

If you are interested in learning more about our program or offering your time, please email Sarah Wozniak at swozniak@pearltheatre.org and fill out our contact sheet (located here).

If you would like to usher for any of our performances, call the box office at 212-598-9802 to reserve your dates. Volunteer ushers assist the house manager before, during, and after the show, in exchange for seeing the play for free. Call in advance, as we only have 4 available usher slots for each performance!
