Audience Services Manager
The Pearl Theatre Company, celebrating its 25th Anniversary,
is hiring a full-time Audience Services Manager for the 2008/2009 season.
We are seeking a creative, highly organized, self-motivated, experienced
manager to coordinate our front of house operations.
Responsibilities:
- hire and supervise all house
management and box office employees
- supervise and manage concessions
- maintain health department regulations in the lobby
- serving as an active member in the marketing department by assisting
with the strategy and execution of campaigns
- coordinate and supervise the volunteer usher program
- tracking and reporting on ticket sales
- coordination and execution of group sales and subscriptions
Requirements:
- a significant interest and
passion in theatre and the arts; particularly classical plays
- 1-2 years of management and customer service experience
- experience working in a box office and with concessions a plus
- experience with ProVenue ticketing software a plus
- excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- experience in direct mail, telemarketing, and e-mail campaigns
- fire guard and food protection certification
- computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Photoshop, Quark, In Design, a plus.
- must be available to begin on July 1st
Salary:
Mid to upper 20’s with a comprehensive benefits package.
